GARDEN NONSENSE
The gillyflower in a shaded bower
Winks at the pinks
And the tall wallflowers,
Their scent bent
By the sweet pea breeze,
Make me want to cough and sneeze
While bees with knees
And ants in pants
And worms that turn
Creepy crawly in the fern.
Hollyhocks in socks
And stocks in smocks,
Beans in jeans
And leeks in breeks,
Oats in coats
And flies in ties:
A sight for sore eyes.
Naught is aught
And aught is naught
But a strange green thought,
In short.
